Climate Change in the Last Frontier

The Ocean Alaska Science and Learning Center, in collaboration with the Kenai Fjords National Park and the Alaska SeaLife Center, is pleased to announce the 2009 Teacher Workshop. This year's workshop is entitled "Climate Change in the Last Frontier," and will take place on November 7-8 in Seward. It is aimed at teachers of grades 4 - 8. Join naturalists and researchers to learn about activities and projects that can help students understand the complicated science of climate change. Fee for the workshop is $75.00. College credit is available through the University of Alaska Anchorage for an additional fee of $69.00. Financial grants of up to $500 are also available for travel to the workshop in Seward.
